Now instagram is mostly known for people taking selfies, fitness accounts with tiny girls in bikinis, and filters. All that aside, it can be used as a marketing strategy for stores and websites.
I’ve recently been finding some really cute boutiques and shop accounts from Australia and New Zealand which I’ve never heard of and probably never would have if it were not for the large amount of time I spend scrolling through the random and most popular photos section in the search tab.
I came across an account which is for a fashion boutique from New Zealand. Swonderful Boutique is a mother and daughter owned business who design and make their own vintage inspired clothing for women.
I have an interest and some would say obsession, with floral patterned dresses. If you’re a girl who loves girly, vintage style dresses, this is definitely a website to look at.
All orders over $50 have free shipping and they ship worldwide. Normal shipping prices are $7 to New Zealand and $15 to the rest of the world. They ship your purchase within 2 days and worldwide delivery should take around two weeks.
They also offer a bridesmaid dress service and have photos from a number of weddings which their dresses have been used for. I must say, bridesmaids dresses have never looked so good and unique.
If you haven’t already fallen in love with the idea of this business, here’s a quote from the owners “Swonderful is a clothing & gift store, a nostalgic treasure trove, a family of like minded folk with smart ideas & a good place to lose yourself.”
I fell in love with two dresses in particular which I have screen shot from the website:
The prices may seem a little high to some, but considering all of the products are hand made in New Zealand and the fabric is only ever the best, what can you expect? You’re buying quality products and to do that you need to pay a little more than Primark or Target prices.
I would recommend this store to everyone. I emailed regarding sizing and was given a response efficiently which was extremely helpful.
Definitely one of my new favourite finds.
Disclosure: All photos, information and quote have been taken from the Swonderful Boutique website (www.swonderful.co.nz). This post is 100% my opinion and I am in no way part of the company. I just love the clothes so much!
